Virtual tour

Compile a list of as many places as you can which allow you to take a virtual tour.

A virtual tour is an online tool used to show places, venues, returants and many other different places using photos, videos or a real person touring you around. The tour may give you information about the place or other essiential knowledge. The virtual tour is really quiet new to the internet, but I think it is a great way to tour places you haven’t been to before and check them out, and even if you didn’t like it you haven’t lost time or money to go to the venue and pay for a real life tour. The online tour is also very convenient in a lot of ways, for example people who live a long way away and don’t have the time to look at all the colleges when picking a school to go to. My favourite tour is the London tour, It is placed on the london eye but you can go to other places by clicking on a little button. Although the online tour is an amazing tool sometimes the venues aren’t updated or partically laggy and slow but it is a great new addition to the internet and it is an amzing way to look at tours online.

College orrientation

Today was Tauranga Girls College orientation day. We left school at 8:45 and caught a bus to TGC, when we got there some of the maori students welcomed us into the hall. The four head students, (head girl, deputy head, sports captain and arts caption) and the year 9 deans were on the stage. The head girl for 2015 said a speech, I was really impressed; great speech. We then got set with four student ambassadors and went to one of the tutor classes. We got to ask them questions about options and what were the good house, sort of questions like that. I found out that drama seems really cool from what the ambassadors said, all the options look really cool and if you pick the wrong ones in year 9 you can change in year 10 if you don't like them. I saw Steffanie from last year, and a few oats people I know. i found out that I can change my options becasue some of the ones I picked seem a bit boring now so i'm relieved about that. I am They then took us for a tour around the school and we then walked back to school.
