Miss C eye problem

Conversation between Miss C and the doctor

Doctor: Hi, how can I help you today?

Miss C: Well, I have this red bubble on my left top corner of my eye, It is not sore or irritating but I am quiet concerned that it might be a problem

Doctor: Let me take a look

Miss C: Sure

Doctor: Ok, it seems, a blood vessel behind the tissue of your eye has broke, and has no where to go apart from in the white part of your eye. It is called Subconjunctival Hermmorrhage, It looks like a serious problem but really its not.

Miss C: So... Do you know what has caused this?

Doctor: Usually it is caused by rubbing the eye, or something hitting the eye causing the blood vessel to brake.

Miss C: Will I need to take any medication

Doctor: No, There is no medication needed for this, It normally takes several weeks for the hemorrhage to clear up, by no means should you be rubbing your eyes until it dissolves & disappears as it may cause it to rip

Miss C: Will there be any side affects?

Doctor: No but if when the Hemorrhage disappears and another one come up you should definitely be evaluated for underlying causes like diabetes or hypertension, to change medications, or to rule out any blood disorders.

Miss C: Okay, great that help alot! Thanks doctor
