Science experiments

Today room 42 went to the room by the science lab, In the tech block. There were heaps of really cool experiments to do. You went in pairs for each experiment and swapped every 4 minutes. They had small instruction papers to follow, on each experiment. My favourite experiment was the cup telephones.


You need: 
2 plastic cups
Long piece of string
1 match stick


What to do 
You had to make a hole in the bottom of both cups. Put the string through the hole & Brake the match stick in half and tie the string to the match stick. You needed to pull the string really tight so it would work. One person talks into the cup, & it travels through the string into the other cup which should be on the other persons ear. You can then talk through the 'telephone' to each other. Me & Renee found it really funny and cool hearing each others voice.
